To one degree or another, most all of us try to stay healthy. It’s important to maintain both physical and emotional / mental health. You can be taking excellent care of your physical health, but poor emotional health can also effect you physically and vice versa. An important part of both physical and mental health is having some sort of healthy sex life. It’s also important to make certain you’re getting good advice on your health when you need it. And here my friends is where I again find it necessary to jump all over the Abrahamic religions. These people just don’t get it when it comes to health and sex.

Lately I’ve been fussed at a bit because I’ve been perceived as “harsh” or “rude” in my treatment of Christians in particular and religion in general. Most of it has been from people I know personally, though I also catch a lot of crap from true-believers in various online forums, Facebook comments, etc. So please allow me to clear up a few things.
The United States of America is in an awkward and frightening position. Extremists on the left and right are fighting mightily to change the nation according to their individual (and very different) visions of what America should be. The left seeks to turn us into a Socialist utopia. The far right, or at least many of them, seek a Protestant Christian theocracy where the Christian Bible supersedes even our Constitution. The rest of us are essentially the rope in a cultural tug of war. And that tug of war has become violent to a degree not seen in decades. Civility is becoming a thing of the past. 
From the 8th through the 13th centuries, the Arabic world was at the forefront of cultural advancement. Advances in medicine, human anatomy, mathematics and astronomy abounded throughout the region. It was the Golden Age of Islam. During these years Baghdad was one of the world’s foremost scientific and cultural centers.
