So today whilst cruising along I-90 in South Dakota a good friend of mine called me and as per usual, we ended up gabbing at least an hour. Somehow the conversation wandered off to boyhood memories of riding our bicycles and this led to our mutual fondness of the great Huffy and Schwinn bikes of the 70s (when we grew up). And now, a few hours later I have a few rhetorical questions for those who design and build bicycles. Mainly, what were you thinking?!
