I was fussing about this a few days ago, but I’m gonna fuss a little more. Christians constantly post stuff on social media about how great their god is. And that’s fine. They have that right and I support it. But if a non-believer should make a comment on that post in disagreement, no matter how polite, the believers often respond with indignation or outright arrogance (“My god is the ONE TRUE GOD OF THE BIBLE!!!”). All through the Trump presidency, Mr. Trump has been a bit of a loose cannon when it comes to social media. One could make the case that Democrats aside, his own mouth (and by extension his keyboard) is his worst enemy. Has he exaggerated at times? Yes. Lied? Yes. Been truthful at other times? Yes again. But now it’s crumbling down all around him. Twitter and Facebook have muzzled him, and Joe Biden is about to replace him. The latest leg of his lifelong ego trip is coming to an end. Preaching To A Choir Of One

More and more, I’m seeing memes on social media from Christians about how “God is in control.” And the more out of control the world becomes, the more they insist otherwise. At some point, true believers are going to have to face the truth: No, God isn’t in control because He doesn’t exist. Or if He does exist, they need to fire Him and hire a more competent deity to govern their fate.
