I hear it and see it all the time: Christians claiming that God “tells them” or “guides them” in some way. Usually they describe it as a strong feeling from within. On social media I see all these declarations about how people want God to guide them and protect them. It’s sickening to see people abasing themselves before a non-existent tyrant in hopes of currying favor. And whether they realize it or not, that’s all they’re (you’re?) doing. Continue reading →
